Natisone, in a video the desperate attempt of a firefighter to save the boys

he tried to swim to them. Despite the murky waters, the very strong current, the obvious risk to her life. But the attempt at a firemanwho on Friday attempted to save the three boys surprised by the flood Natisoneit turned out to be in vain.

The heroic attempt by the firefighter was captured on video, shot by an anonymous passer-by from the Roman bridge, in Premariacco.

In the video you can see the rescuer swimming with all his strength on the side that the boys – Bianca Doros and Patrizia Cosmos, whose bodies were found, and Cristian Molnar, still missing – they should have traveled, many minutes earlier, when the water level was still low. An action that was aborted because 23-year-old Bianca didn’t know how to swim and her other two friends decided not to abandon her.

In the video the firefighter, although trained in similar interventions, he can’t get even close to the boyswho meanwhile hold each other in a fraternal embrace already immortalized in many videos shot by passers-by.

A few moments after the filming ended – it was learned – the firefighter had to give up so as not to risk being overwhelmed himself by the fury of the Natisone flood.

According to what we learn, the fire brigade rescuer was a specialist in rescue during river activities.

For greater safety during the intervention, a colleague kept him anchored with a rope to a fixed garrison in the wooded area around the Natisone. Despite this precaution, several times he was forced to interrupt the rescue attemptuntil he had to give up because the current was too strong.

At the same time, his team colleagues had prepared a system of ropes, tied to the ladder truck with which they had arrived on site, which they threw from the Roman bridge in a desperate attempt to facilitate the recovery of the three boys.

According to what has been reconstructed, the three boys had arrived by car in Premariacco at 1.05pm to take some photos of the Natisone. 24 minutes after Patrizia’s first of 4 calls to 112: in total she will remain on the phone for around 30 minutes, and the content of the conversations was acquired in the investigation documents.

At 1.47pm, Patrizia makes the last phone call to 112 asking for help: in the meantime, the Udine firefighters arrive on site first. Thirteen minutes later the boys, hugging each other to resist the water, are overwhelmed by the river.
