Solopaca, the soprano Alina Malgieri ranked first in the ‘Cuore d’Oro’ competition

The Solopachese Alina Malgieri won the first prize of the “Cuore d’Oro Competition”, second edition, open to international singers and held in the splendid setting of the Royal Site of Carditello.
The competition has assigned the roles to be entrusted to the winners who this time too, after last year’s success, will participate in the village of the municipality of Vairano Patenora, in the Tragédie de Carmen on 4 August in the village of Vairano Patenora and in the opera Cavalleria Rusticana, on September 15th in the Royal Palace of Carditello.

The judging commission made up of representatives of the cultural associations that sponsored the event saw the extraordinary participation of Nicoletta Mantovani, Artistic Director of the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation: “Receiving the award from Nicoletta Mantovani, wife of the great master Luciano Pavarotti and president of the Luciano foundation Pavarotti, it was an incredible experience!” the soprano commented, moved.

The soprano Alina Malgieri has already won in early June the first prize “INTERNATIONAL MEDITERRANEAN MUSICAL COMPETITION 2024” organized by the Arte Ionica Association, chaired by Maestro Massimiliano Monopoli and coordinated by Maestro Anna Maria Sallustio and Maestro Antonella Monachino.
Around 400 participants: orchestras and soloists from Italy, Romania, Croatia, Greece, Ukraine and Korea who animated the Sannicandro Castle in the province of Bari, the historical venue of the competition.

The soprano Alina Malgieri, absolute winner of the “Concorso Mediterraneo 2024, Antonio Sallustio Award” was awarded a scholarship for the best musical performance in opera singing by performing pieces by Puccini and Verdi, obtaining the highest vote.

All the satisfaction of Maestro Michelangelo Malgieri who has been animating the opera and choral music scene in Valle Telesina for years, for the recent and prestigious successes which reward years of sacrifices which have seen him continuously close to his young daughter.
