The Laceno d’Oro International Film Festivalthe historic film festival of Avellinopublishes the notices of the three competitions and announces the dates of the 49th edition, from 1 to 8 December 2024.

Registration for the contests is available on the international platform www.filmfreeway.com and on the official website of the festival www.lacenodoro.it expiring on September 12th.

There are three competitive sections: the three international competitions Laceno d’Oro 49reserved for feature films of fiction or “cinema of reality” and documentaries; Eyes on the city, dedicated to short films on the themes of urban spaces, the environment and landscape; the third competition is reserved for works created by authors from Campania or set in the Campania region, Spazio Campania «Chiara Rigione»dedicated to the young and talented director from Irpinia who died prematurely. The works in the three categories will be chosen by technical juries made up of artists and professionals in the sector.

THE PRICES: The winning works will win a prize of Euro 3000 for the Laceno d’Oro 49 section, of Euro 1500 for Eyes on the City, and Euro 1000 will be awarded to the best film of Spazio Campania.

There are two other prizes assigned by the Popular Jury participating in the festival: Best Film Laceno d’Oro 49 and Best Film Spazio Campania, to which the festival will donate an art object by a Campanian author, chosen by teachers of the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples.

The Laceno d’Oro International Film Festival is organized by the Circolo ImmaginAzione of Avellino, chaired by Antonio Spagnuolo, with the artistic direction of Maria Vittoria Pellecchia, Aldo Spiniello responsible for programming.
