I was not involved in this path that Forza Italia has undertaken and therefore I will not be there.” Those are words that are only apparently calm, but in reality sharp as blades, those pronounced by Samuel Costanza. The man who – at the moment – is still the group leader of Forza Italia in the city council a Desio, seems about to make very strong choices. Or maybe not. But at least his intentions seem clear: to remain consistent with himself and in particular with the mandate that – he is absolutely convinced – the voters have entrusted to him in the 2021 local elections.

I don’t forget that I am a municipal councilor elected by many citizens of Desio who have also given me personal trust, I owe them the answers and reasons for my political choices.”

Immediately afterwards, a thrust aimed at the mayor, Simone Gargiulo, but also at the top of Forza Italia: «Today, no one thought it possible to make clear to me and therefore to my voters the news that should lead me to share the mayor’s personal choice. A choice that should be, in my opinion, supported by a political path made, necessarily, also by commitments and sharing of Forza Italia’s local electoral program and not just the general principles already guaranteed by our constitution.”
