FANO – «How much longer do we have to wait before addressing the issue in a serious manner, talking about prevention, training, safety culture?».
The question is Marta Ruggeri, regional councilor who intervened after yet another serious accident at work which occurred in the last 24 hours. In the early afternoon of June 3rd a 57 year old worker, resident in Romagna, for reasons yet to be clarified, he suddenly appeared lost his balance and then fell to the ground from a shed of about three metres where he was removing an old cover.
In the disastrous fall he reported traumas considered very serious enough to require immediate action code red transfer by air ambulance toTorrette regional hospital. On site, in addition to 118 the Prevention technicians in the environment and workplaces of the Prevention Department of the AST of Pesaro Urbino and the State Police intervened.

The 57 year old he is still hospitalized at the regional hospital in Torrette where he underwent a delicate surgical operation yesterday evening. From the rumors leaked this afternoon, his condition is considered very serious but stationary. The next few hours will be decisive.
