Rome, 4 June – Every now and then reality pierces the veil of the hypocrisies and absurdities of our society; and he does it with the force of a slap in the face. This is what happened in Spainwhen a man went on stage during a show by the comedian and LGBT activist Jaime Caravaca to give him a couple of slaps. The reason? The latter had made heavy jokes of a sexual nature and with pedophilic connotations towards the three month old son of the first.

“This has its consequences”: father slaps LGBT comedian

He is Alberto ‘Boxing’singer and leader of the radical right musical group Boxing. The other is Jaime Caravacacomedian and former collaborator of David Brancano on the TV show The resistance. When Alberto ‘Pugilato’ approaches the stage, Caravaca first addresses him with “who are you?”, then begins to understand the situation and tries to plead with a “friend”. The other replies “man”, as if to warn him, and hits him with a slap that sends him into a corner. Also given the physical difference between the two, Alberto seems to want to contain himself without raging. To the rest of those present he explains: “This is because of the pedophilic comments he made about my son”. He addresses Caravaca as “rubbish” and asks him: “And now? Tell me, tell me to my face”. Someone else from the audience gets up and Alberto puts his hand on his heart: “I apologize. I’m just a father who defends his children. He made sexualizing comments about my three-month-old son. And this has the consequences of him ”. Caravaca tries to calm things down: “Can we talk, buddy?”. Alberto answers him dryly: “No. Now go ahead and report me.”. Then there is another exchange of words between the two which ends with a second and final slap against Caravaca.

Caravaca’s apology after the episode

It all started when Alberto posted a photo on social media with his three-month-old son and the writing: “Happiness and pride”. Photo on which Caravaca had commented with some very serious insults and which we do not want to report here in full, but which concerned sexual acts that the child should have performed – according to the comedian – towards “black cocks”. For Alberto, “It’s not about ideology, it’s about defending the most sacred thing in a society, namely children”. The experience must have been useful in some way, as Caravaca later did my fault: “After what happened, what was supposed to be a joke It was ultimately an unfortunate and not at all appropriate comment on my part. I apologize to anyone who feels affected. Let us put violence aside and leave a good world in which people can grow up free.”
