Railways: MD carriages from Friuli Venezia Giulia to be demolished [VIDEO]

What is happening was inevitable and as life teaches, for every beginning there is always an end.

With an overabundance of E.464 locomotives, it was obvious that Trenitalia’s Pilota type MD cars would also be set aside and sent for demolition in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

On the morning of Tuesday 4 June 2024 he left from Trieste Centrale a direct demolishing dispatch as the first stage ad Alexandria.

The train is made up of seven carriages of the above type and specifically from three MDVCs, two “Mazinga” semi-pilots and two MDVEsall intended for volumetric reduction, led by the E.464.092 in XMPR livery and in the queue E.464.013 in DPR colour.

Arrived at Alexandriathe convoy should stop all evening, to leave the next day to reach the last stop which as always will be Saint Joseph of Cairo.

Here all seven cars in composition will be scrappedwhile the E.464.013 and the E.464.092 will return to Friuli Venezia Giulia in the same morning.

In order, as always, here are all the markings of the carriages involved:
