The administration has adopted, by union order, a series of measures to prevent and combat fires and hygienic-sanitary problems, restoring decorum and safety in private areas and lands.

This was communicated by the deputy mayor and councilor for public green spaces Sandro Cretella.

Specifically, the provision provides that from 15 June to 15 October 2024, owners and/or managers of agricultural areas, uncultivated land, uncultivated urban green areas, abandoned industrial areas, holders of buffer zones for aqueducts, managers of construction and road sites, administrators of condominiums with adjoining appurtenant areas and owners of areas with temporary and permanent outdoor storage in generally built-up areas comply with the provisions of Regional Law no. 51 of 22 December 2017.

Law which provides for a series of obligations ranging from implementing all appropriate measures to prevent the ignition and spread of fires to proceeding with the maintenance of the relevant funds or areas, keeping them free of debris, waste, obsolete machinery, mowing and pruning .

Measures that are aimed not only at preventing fires but also at guaranteeing the urban decorum of private areas.
