Valenza, 800 thousand euros of jewels and precious materials seized by the Financial Police

From the beginning of the year until today, the financiers of the Valenza company have reported five people to the prefecture and the Chamber of Commerce for “unauthorized trading in precious things” and for “selling unbranded precious materials and objects”.

«The inspection activities – they explain from the Valenza command – made it possible to seize a total of approximately 7 kilos of gold alloyed for industrial use, 84 sheets of pure gold, weighing over 4 kilos, 354 grams of pure silver in grains, 19 gold jewels and 19 precious stones weighing over 38 carats. During an inspection of a vehicle, a false bottom was also discovered in the passenger compartment, accessible via an ingenious electromagnetic system, inside which had been hidden 56 sheets of pure gold, weighing 3 kilos and worth over 200 thousand euroswhich had been sold illicitly by a city company”.

Since the beginning of 2024, the fight against tax evasion and the illicit reuse of capital or assets in the manufacture, trade and brokerage of goods in the jewelery sector implemented by the Valencian Yellow Flames has led to seizures which now approach the value of 800 thousand euros.
