This year too, Puglia snatches the title from Lazio in the 2024 Olympic Dream Cup. A result achieved thanks also to the many medals won by the athletes of New Marzial Mesagne. Puglia takes home 39 medals and a large part are Made in Mesagne.
The Olympic Dream Cup has seen a heated rivalry between Puglia and Lazio over the years. Puglia won the title in 2023, 2022, 2017, 2016 and 2014, while Lazio triumphed in 2019, 2018 and 2015. Simultaneously with the last day of the Kim and Liù, the Olympic Dream Cup gave unforgettable emotions to the numerous fans who came from all the regions of Italy. The Foro Italico was packed with taekwondo enthusiasts and supporters, who cheered for the best talents from the regional selections who competed for the coveted cup. The event represents a real stage for the future of Italian taekwondo, as it highlights the values of discipline, respect and unity that characterize this sport.
