The new Serie B is starting to take shape. The cadet championship, which will see Juve Stabia again protagonist four years later, is almost completed. Yesterday, in the surrounding waters of the ‘Pierluigi Penzo’ Stadium, Vanoli’s Venezia reached the second leg of the play-off final thanks to an early goal from Gytkjaer against Cremonese, gaining the return to the top flight and forcing the Lombards to remain in B. Stroppa’s team is bitter after several wasted opportunities and the 0-0 draw in the first leg. The Grigiorossi will therefore face the Vespas in the next season of the cadet championship. The last opponent is missing. In Serie C, Carrarese overcame their rivals Beneveneto twice, overcoming the Samnites with a pyrotechnic 2-2 within the walls of the ‘Vigorito’. A masterpiece goal from the former Schiavi decides on a free kick. Now the marble workers are one step away from a 76-year dream. But to do so they will have to beat Vicenza, reduced by the victory, both in the first leg and in the second leg, over Avellino. The wolves end their journey in the Juve Stabia stadium of the same name. In two halves the Venetians beat Pazienza’s team, first with Della Morte, then with Costa in the second half. Patieno’s penalty goal was useless. See you on June 5th and 9th to meet the latest newly promoted team. The cadet championship will start on August 17th, with the inaugural match taking place on the 16th.
