Among the many, that I want to create a Church, but I am in and with the Church. I deny the news that journalists write about me, that is, that I was excommunicated. It’s all false, me I have never received an excommunication and not even the people who pray with me, don’t listen to those who say that by coming to prayer meetings with me you risk excommunication, because it’s not true. It’s not me who manipulates people, but it’s the others who do it, so as not to make you come here to pray.”

The reference is presumably to what journalists showed from videos of previous prayer meetings in which the visionary was seen taking a piece of paper while she wrote the message, with the assumption that it was a text prepared by someone else or that she was receiving money .

After the rosary and the Loreto litanies, Gisella Cardia recited another prayer, the “Consecration to Jesus through the hands of Mary”, inviting the faithful to repeat the formula after her. Some of those present looked at each other in confusion, wondering if she could actually do it or if it was a prayer that can only be said in the presence of a priest. Specifically, it is a prayer with which the faithful renew their beliefs commitments made at baptism and through which it is expressed the intention to “renounce Satan”. One passage says: “In the presence of the whole Church, I acknowledge you for my mother and sovereign.”

Regardless of whether or not Gisella Cardia can recite the prayer with the faithful, the question is that the presence of the Church is not there, as the Catholic Church has taken a clear position on what is happening in Trevignano Romano, saying that it’s all false and that the Madonna never appeared. First with the decree of the diocese of Civita Castellana, then with the tightening of the rules for the recognition of apparitions, in conjunction with which in a press conference the prefect of the Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith clarified that: “We still have time for Trevignano Romano, excommunication is possible if things get complicated, if the phenomenon does not disappear and grows, but there are steps to be taken.”
