VENAFRO’S GREEN GOLD, GOLD MEDAL FOR THE MUCCIO COMPANY

The Di Muccio farm is a small olive growing company located in the municipality of Venafro (IS) and is part of the best-known Olive Park of Venafro. The birth of the company dates back to 1948 but it is with the current owner, Ernesto Di Muccio, that a significant evolution took place: contrary to the family concept he decided to focus much more on quality even at the cost of scarifying the quantities . A choice that, seeing the results, proved to be a winning one.

The variety chosen by the company is the Aurina monocultivar, typical of the area, cultivated according to tradition and without the use of pesticides, so as to produce an oil of the highest level of organoleptic and nutritional qualities.

The latest international recognition dates back to just a few days ago, with the awarding of the 2024 Evo gold medal which adds to the countless awards, such as the Molise gold drop obtained 3 months ago. In all, the Di Muccio company boasts 22 awards in a single year, a record that marks the excellence of our local productions even beyond the national territory.

By virtue of such fame, the city of Cassino decided to organize two events in which Ernesto brought home 2 other awards of proven quality. But his long career seems far from over, in fact the program includes participation in the tour organized by Gambero Rosso in Naples and the participation of the Venafran company in the selection to be held in Monte Carlo, Dubai and Tokyo.

The internationally valuable oil is Italian, it is from Molise and it is from Venafra.
