The 10-year-old girl who had wandered away from a facility where she was staying in Torri, in the municipality of Rignano sull’Arno, has been found. This is what we learn from the rescuers.
According to what we learned, the little girl is fine even though she was scared when she was found. She is along the bank of a stream in an inaccessible area: to recover her the firefighters lowered themselves from above. The police also took part in the searches. From what emerged, the little girl apparently left the facility where she is staying on her bicycle around midday. The alarm was raised and searches were activated in the area, an area with a wooded area and also two lakes. The rescuers then found the bicycle and then the little girl.
The firefighters intervened from 1.30 pm in the Torri area, with the ground teams and the diving unit due to the presence of the Arno river and some bodies of water near the searches, and carried out an overflight of the area with Drago 60, the helicopter of the Arezzo flight department. The SAPR unit has also been activated for instrumental research carried out by the drone.
