Citizens are invited to participate – Monday 3 June at the BAR treC in Ciconia at 5.30pm – to an initiative promoted by the 5 Star Movement and Bella Orvieto on the major derivations entitled: BLUE GOLD. It is for this reason that what had been taken away for decades is returned to the people of Orvieto, when the presence of Lake Corbara was in no way taken into consideration in the distribution between the municipalities territorially affected by the large-scale diversion plants.
Resources that arrive thanks to the amendment proposed by the 5 Star Movement to regional law 1/2023 ‘Discipline of the assignment of concessions for large hydroelectric derivations in Umbria and determination of the fee’. The M5S amendment to article 24 provided that, in addition to the municipalities with the presence of plants, those with “the presence of hydraulic works functionally connected to them which constitute an integral part of them, to which the activities of large derivations of public waters for hydroelectric-motive power use”.
