Sant’Ambrogio sul Garigliano (FR) – Condolences for the death of the 38-year-old motorcyclist Emilio Locatelli, everyone’s friend

Esteemed and appreciated for his character, he was a hard worker. He was also appreciated as a member of the Villa Latina (FR) band.

A few hours before the accident he had joined a social group of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Italy. Emilio Locatelli introduced himself to the other members, but above all he posted a photo of his beloved two-wheeler. The same one that, unfortunately, would soon be the cause of her death. A tragic fate, in fact, awaited the 38-year-old from Sant’Ambrogio sul Garigliano, who in the late evening of Friday 31 May was traveling along the road that leads from the town of Valle dei Santi to Rocca d’Evandro.

The victim and the motorcycle were noticed only hours later, in the Campania region. The reconstruction of the dynamics of this road exit which does not appear to have involved other vehicles is entrusted to the carabinieri of the Sessa Aurunca (CE) company.

From that moment the news spread and the community of Sant’Ambrogio rallied around the family and friends of Locatelli, esteemed and loved by all. Mayor Sergio Messore canceled the electoral meeting scheduled for Saturday evening. Now we are waiting to know the date of the funeral to give a final farewell to a young man full of life, known as a hard worker. The companions of the Villa Latina musical band also mourn him, of which Emilio, who they called Mimmo, was a fundamental element endowed with great sensitivity. An authentic ‘friend of everyone’ you can count on. “You have honored us, cheered us up, enriched us with your friendship, we spent many beautiful and carefree days together. We believe, indeed we are sure, that it was like this for all the people who had this privilege like us” was the message from the grief-stricken musicians.
