Novena for the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which falls on the Friday after the second Sunday following Pentecost, and this year it is celebrated on 7 June, which coincides with the eighth day after Corpus Domini, if the latter is celebrated on Thursday.
It is therefore a movable feast, the date of which, which depends on the date of Easter, can vary between 29 May and 2 July.
June 7, 2024 marks the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a heart that beats with love for us and where everyone has reserved a place and is protected from all evil.
Let us pray to him with love, aware that devotion to the heart of Jesus is the quickest way to reach a profound knowledge of Christ the Lord and the most effective means of reawakening faith in hearts, even the most distant, to love him more intensely and imitate him more faithfully.
Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: fourth day
Adorable heart of Jesus, my sweet life, in my present needs I turn to you and entrust to your power, your wisdom, your goodness, all the sufferings of my heart, repeating a thousand times:
“O Most Sacred Heart, source of love, take care of my present needs”.

Heart of Jesus, I join your intimate union with the Heavenly Father.
Beloved heart of Jesus, ocean of mercy, I turn to you for help in my present needs and with full
I abandon myself, I entrust myself to your power, to your wisdom, to your goodness,
the tribulation that oppresses me, repeating a thousand times:
“O most tender Heart, my only treasure, take care of my present needs”.

Heart of Jesus, I join your intimate union with the Heavenly Father.
Most loving heart of Jesus, delight of those who invoke you!
In the impotence in which I find myself I turn to you, sweet comfort of the troubled and I entrust to your power,
to your wisdom, to your goodness, all my pains and I repeat again a thousand times:
“O most generous Heart, unique rest of those who hope in you, take care of my present needs”.

O Mary, mediator of all graces, one word of yours will save me from my present difficulties.
