This part of the project was developed in a disused landfill within the port area of Ravenna.
«The fire approval is a small step for the Agnes project of an innovative energy hub in the heart of Romagna. I thank the Qint’x and FSE Progetti team for their precious work”, concludes Bernabini.
Last April 17, Agnes obtained the favorable opinion of the Pnrr-Pniec commission, the integrated national plan for energy and climate published in 2020 and updated in 2023.
Agnes is a complete energy hub with 600MW of latest generation offshore wind, 100MW of floating solar, 60MW of green hydrogen production, 50MW/200MWh of storage located within the port of Ravenna. Over 1500 GWh/year of green energy to be injected directly into the Po Valley, equivalent to the consumption of 500,000 families and the avoided emission of 700,000 tons/year of CO2.
Agnes Romagna 1 is the project of an offshore wind farm with 200 MW of power developed in the Adriatic Sea approximately 12 miles (22.22 km) from the coast of Lido di Classe.
The offshore wind farm occupies a total area of 85 km2 and is made up of 25 8 MW wind turbines, 170m high and with a rotor diameter of 260m. It is estimated that it can produce enough energy to cover the annual consumption of 80,000 people.
A floating photovoltaic system with a power of 100MWp will be installed next to the wind farm.
Agnes Romagna 2 is the project of a 400 MW offshore wind farm developed in the Adriatic Sea approximately 14 miles (26 km) from the coast of Porto Corsini.
This offshore wind farm is made up of 50 8 MW wind turbines 170m high and with a rotor approximately 260m in diameter.
