Todde-union meeting: «From today one discussion per month»

«With the unions we will have not only a formal but a structural relationship that starts from the guidelines that emerge in the programmatic declarations and the acronyms’ documents». This was declared by the president of the Region Alessandra Todde at the end of the first meeting with CGIL, CISL, UIL and UGL. The real innovation concerns the method: «We have decided to set up a table that will meet once a month to establish priorities». Which? «Water, energy, work and the topics on the agenda at this stage». The social partners are satisfied.

THE UNIONS – For Fausto Durante (CGIL) we need «a great pact between the Region and the social partners for work and the social, economic and industrial transformation of Sardinia. the priorities are “health, infrastructure, transport, territorial continuity, the implementation of the principle of insularity and stable, quality work, open industrial disputes and energy issues, the implementation of the principle of insularity”.

The secretary of the CISL Pier Luigi Ledda he explained that «Sardinia is going through a delicate moment but with a working method that puts the problems at the center a position can be outlined». The secretary of Uil Francesca Ticca he clarified that the first impression is positive, there are many problems but there are still no solutions. «For now we have managed to get to meet the president once a month. It’s a first step.”
