RAVARINO, CONCORDIA – New details emerge on the testimonies that took place yesterday, Wednesday 22 May, during the trial against Mohamed Gaaloul, accused of the murder of Alice Neri, a 32-year-old from Ravarino found charred inside her car in the countryside of Fossa di Concordia on the 18th November 2022.
As we read in the local press, in fact, in addition to the testimony of the man who first saw Alice Neri’s charred car on 18 November 2022, yesterday the maintenance worker of the area where the car and body of the young Ravarian girl were also heard were found. His testimony was important above all in relation to one aspect, namely the used oil tank found empty near the car set on fire during the investigations.
This is a fundamental element, as the investigators immediately hypothesized that the used oil contained in that tank could be the fuel used by Alice Neri’s murderer to set fire to the car containing the body of the young woman for the purpose to erase every trace of the murder.
The maintenance worker in the area, during his testimony, confirmed that the tank containing used oil was full the day before the murder: a circumstance which therefore seems to confirm the possibility that the used oil was actually used as fuel. The man also confirmed that used oil is a substance that burns for a long time if it is set on fire. Gaaloul’s DNA was found on the can during the investigation.
