As part of the information campaigns dedicated to the elderly on the topic of scams to which they can fall victims, with the aim of increasing awareness of the phenomenon and promoting prevention and defense yesterday, Monday 20 May, in Castromediano, a meeting was held between Institutions and citizenship.
Doctor Anna Rita Carollo, Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Court of Campobasso and Dr. Marco Schirosi, Chief Commissioner of the State Police, Director of the District Operational Section for Cyber Security (Postal and Communications Police) of Lecce.
The initiative, which saw copious participation and heartfelt involvement from those present, also through the asking of specific questions to the speakers, was an opportunity to inform more mature citizens about the risks related to scams in which one can encounter both in today’s physical and digital context, dispensing a series of useful advice.
