Heavy rains since late yesterday afternoon, which are continuing into the morning although with less intensity, have been persisting for about 24 hours in Romagna, especially in Cesenate. At the moment only limited flooding of some basements and rooms on the ground floor has been reported, which was resolved by the intervention of the firefighters. Flooding also occurred in the countryside, where the rain caused damage to crops being harvested (cherries) and flowering plants, but here too the situation is not particularly worrying at the moment. The levels of all waterways are rising, which are constantly monitored. More problems on the Cesena section of the E45. In sections where the road surface already had cracks, the heavy rain that fell, combined with the transit of heavy vehicles, caused the formation of deep potholes, causing the need to close the affected sections to traffic, with a diversion onto secondary roads. The intervention of Anas technicians, still ongoing, has allowed circulation on the highway to be restored.
