Last Saturday 11 May, the Regional Cadet and Junior Colored Belt Championships took place at the Giugliano sports hall in Campania (NA), a competition reserved for athletes born between 2007 and 2009 and valid for the assignment of regional titles.
To represent the Amateur Sports Society “Taekwondo Irpino”directed by the Masters Luigi SALDUTTO And Rocco GIANNELLI,there were the athletes Alessandro DE LUCA, Vito SALDUTTO and Giuliano FERRANTINO.
Gold medal and Regional Champion title for the athlete Vito SALDUTTO that in the cat. -41 Kg group “D” manages to overcome its opponents with masterful race conduct, above all thanks to good concentration.
Gold medal and Regional Champion title for the athlete Giuliano FERRANTINO. cat. -41 Kg group “C”, which surpasses its opponents, winning three matches with an excellent performance and great determination.
Bronze medal and Regional podium for the athlete Alessandro DE LUCA cat. -59 kg, who in the semi-final gave way to the category winner by just one point. Really a shame!
