Bologna, 16 May 2024 – Sala del cinema Modernissimo very full and with great emotion for the screening of ‘I saw all hell – The story of the flood‘, the documentary (which is combined with the podcast) created by Valerio Baroncinideputy director of the Resto del Carlinoand by the journalist Marco Santangeloand produced by Qn-Carlino, Bcc FelsineaAnd Film library with the patronage of Region. The soundtrack is by Marco ‘Reno’ Solferini. The duration was approximately an hour, with the screening starting shortly after 6pm.

A live story of the tragic events of a year ago through the words, the faces, the exclusive recordings, the testimonies of those who lived there terrible flood on your own skin. Strong and touching imagesthe words spoken during the emergency calls, the strength to resist and start again: a documentary that has excited several present in the room.

The screening was attended by survivors of the floodthe institutions of the Emilia and Romagna area, the police forces, an entire community that was able to see with its own eyes the reportage that lasted a year between the homes of the displaced and the places of the cataclysm. More than 300 people were present in the cinema in Piazza Re Enzo.

“We want to give a voice to those who, in this matter, he didn’t have a voice – comments Valerio Baroncini -. Often, when we talk about this flood, we talk about the great cataclysm and people end up being just numbers, stories are often forgotten. This is a story where politics has entered heavily, but it is also important not to forget about the people.”
