Former footballer Roberto Tricella spoke during “Maracanà”, broadcast on TMW Radio, to comment on the Italian Cup final won by Juventus. Here are his words:
What do you say about the Italian Cup final?
“Last night Allegri went over the top in his attitude, but in my last year at Juve before Maifredi everyone was annoyed that we had won the Italian Cup and the UEFA Cup, because it was better to start from scratch. Same thing last night. If Juve doesn’t had hit the target, no one would have shed tears for Allegri. I don’t think they hoped for this, but they weren’t tearing their hair out either, it seemed over the top to me, beyond the fact that you can say anything to him but he got it right his goals this year. If you put maybe 2-3 important players in him he was already doing more this year. The midfield is fundamental for both the defensive and offensive phases and not having done anything on the transfer market makes you think. Everyone is always on Allegri, but all in all this year he has done his thing. However, Juventus fans need to reconsider. There is a gap now, Inter should win the title every 8-10 years ? In the squad you have to have 7-8 good Italian players and then add the rest.”
Would you take Berardi to Juventus?
“In terms of talent, he is one of the strongest in Italy. Then if we go to see Dybala, he plays the same games as Berardi. If he starts getting hurt less, he can really make the difference. When Berardi got hurt, we all had I thought Sassuolo would be in trouble. Milan spent 20 million on Chukwueze, but it was better to spend 30 million on Berardi.
