OF CAGLIARI
PRESS RELEASE RELATING TO THE MONTH OF APRIL 2024
The consumer price indices for April 2024 were developed taking into account the limitations,

from Covid-19.
The system of the survey on consumer prices, based on the use of a plurality of channels for
data acquisition, continued to reduce the negative effects of the higher number of
lack of findings on the quality of measurements of the dynamics of consumer prices.
The ways in which the situation that arose was gradually addressed are illustrated
in the methodological note of the press release issued today by Istat which also reminds us that
the indices at the different levels of aggregation, both national and local, which have had a share of attributions
higher than 50% (in terms of missing prices and/or weight), are reported using the “i” flag
(given
accused).
