Procida, 23 year old falls from the third floor and dies

A 23 years old, of Turkish nationality, fell this morning from the third floor of the building where he lived and died: from the first reconstructions of the carabinieri, the boy would have leaned too far from the balcony. The accident occurred in via San Rocco 13. The young man was transferred to hospital in Pozzuoli and he died there from his injuries.

The young man had been residing on the island for some time where he worked in the kitchen of a restaurant. According to some testimonies, while he was trying to pass some food to friends who live in the building next to him, he lost his balance and fell to the ground, suffering very serious injuries that caused his death.

The carabinieri of the island station are investigating the matter but there is no doubt about the accidental causes of death. The young man’s body was transferred to Federico II Polyclinic for carrying out the autopsy examination.
