The Roman countryside on fire this morning, in one of the areas north-west of the capital, among the most exposed to fires with dirt and agricultural land often targeted by arsonists: the Casalotti district.
Two outbreaks of flames exploded today around 10.30 am in Via Cossobrato and Via Nebbiolo, which then resulted in a large fire which is worrying the residents of nearby homes.
The alarm in the Operations Room was triggered at 10.30 am with the dispatch of two tankers for the situation described which required two intervention teams, while to guard the area invaded by smoke which also complicates the circulation of vehicles, there ‘is the Local Police of Rome Capital.
For over an hour, workers have been trying to put out the fire and prevent it from traveling along the brushwood. Unfortunately, today’s weather and ventilation are confirmed as the ideal conditions for fueling the flames.
