A unique detail in the shirts
To do this, on the occasion of the match against Empoli, exactly 50 years after that unforgettable day, Lazio will take to the field on 12 May at 12.30 with a special shirt, created specifically to celebrate that triumph. It’s called the “Special 50th Anniversary Kit” and takes up the style of the shirts worn in 1974, with the wide edges of the collar and retro white ribbed sleeves. But the real peculiarity lies in the plot, where the names of all the members of the 1974 squad and their historic coach, Tommaso Maestrelli, are found.
