Fiorello, Long live Rai2! closes with the absolute record – Last hour

Fiorello, the last episode of flies at 24.3% with 1,300,000 viewers. An audience figure which set the absolute record of both editions of the morning show of the second Rai network on 10 May. Fiorello, Biggio, Casciari and the whole gang closed with a bang, with a series of exceptional guests: Amadeus, protagonist of a hilarious performance at the traffic lights paired with the showman; Ultimo, who sang the new single ‘Altrove’ on the piano and an original version of ‘Albachiara’ live from the Olympic stadium, and Jovanotti, who greeted the audience to the tune of a remix of ‘Azzurro’.

Fiorello’s program proved to be a social event of great importance, also underlined by the over 21 million views on RaiPlay. “The entire 2023-24 edition of Viva Rai2! – says Prime Time Entertainment director Marcello Ciannamea with satisfaction – achieved an average of almost 20 percent share with over 1 million viewers with extraordinary performances even among the younger audience (more of 30% share among 15-24 year olds)”.

“Fiorello and all his wonderful team – continues Ciannamea – with Viva Rai2! have entered the history of television. A daily variety show, which every morning for five days a week brought good humor and joy, is something brilliant! I thank Fiorello, his traveling companions Biggio and Casciari, the magnificent dance troupe, Luca Tomassini, the Production, Sports and Health Management and of course the entire Prime Time Entertainment team”.

“Listening to Fiorello’s voice and genius on Rai Radio 2 every day at 2.00pm – adds Simona Sala, director of Rai Radio 2 – was wonderful. The memory immediately flies to Viva Radio2, to such an evocative and out of the ordinary language to make listeners perceive the details, colors and nuances of a TV program. And on channel 202 the average audience of Radio2 Visual was tripled throughout the day, a creative, human and very entertaining experience it’s always open, it’s his home.”
