A boy of 17 years he lost his life today, May 9th, to a tragic accident accident in the municipality of Civezzano (province of Trento). He was riding his bike when a van hit him invested. He was a promise of cycling. Further investigations underway.

AND Matteo Lorenzi, athlete of the junior category of the Montecorona club (Val di Cembra association), the 17-year-old victim of the accident which occurred in Civezzano, in the Sille area, around 3.30 pm. The young man, with his bicycle, collided with a van. According to initial information, the vehicle, which came from the industrial area, would not have respected the right of way and he would have entered the Sp83 without noticing the boy who was cycling along the road.
The firefighters of Civezzano and Fornace, the carabinieri of the Trento mobile radio, the local police and Trentino emergency intervened on site with the support of themedical helicopter. For the young man, who was a promising cyclist, there was nothing that could be done: he died on the spot.
