Load. The Calasanz orientation tutor team has organized several training events to raise awareness of the current training offer.
Relevant in this sense was the collaboration with Unicollege, a university with offices in Turin, Florence and Mantua specialized in the study of applied foreign languages, and which held two English language workshops on 3 May in the main hall of the high school of Carcare whose main recipients are linguistic students, but open to all classes of the second two-year period and the fifth year of high school.
Professor Andreani involved the students in an interesting exploratory journey of directions concerning marketing & communication and Anglo-Saxon culture and civilisation.
This meeting closes the wide range of orientation events aimed at offering the audience of Calasanz students who will largely be future university students, a taste of “campus” life as a student of foreign languages in order to help them in the important choice that awaits them at the end of their studies.
This year, students starting from the second two-year period have had the opportunity to understand something more about their future in these meetings, in person and online, with various universities in the north-west, such as Foreign Languages of the Universities of Turin and Genoa, mediation culture of the University of Forlì, cultural mediation and applied foreign languages of the IULM of Milan.
Further universities, such as the Higher School for Linguistic Mediators of Pisa, will be involved starting next year.
