Rome, 7 May 2024 – House arrest with electronic bracelet for three Lazio ultras to which is added a fourth fan for whom a residence ban was imposed in municipalities I and II of Rome. The four were reached by the Digos of Rome which carried out a precautionary custody order against them as they were investigated, in competition with each other, for the crimes of attempted murder And aggravated personal injury. The accusations against the four ultras concern the beating which took place last January 10th, on the sidelines of the Italian Cup derby Lazio-Roma, near the Clover Pub in the late evening. There was an attack against some patrons of the club and two young Roma fans were injured due to stab wounds, one with a prognosis of more than 40 days and the other 30 days.
The Digos investigation
The investigations of the Capitoline Digos, coordinated by the prosecutor’s office, made it possible to reconstruct the attack by analyzing the camera images of video surveillance present in the area. You see 6 or 7 people who, after gathering about 100 meters away from their objective, reached the pub and therefore attacked the customers and then fled along Viale Angelico. The analyzes of telephone traffic data of the area together with the comparisons of images developed by the scientific police, have made it possible to acquire evidence on the involvement of the 4 Lazio ultras now reached by precautionary measures. At the end of the investigation, the investigating judge of the Court of Rome, at the request of the prosecutor, issued the orders to order house arrest with application of the electronic bracelet for three suspects and a residence ban for the fourth suspect.
