More attacks on Arezzo goldsmith companies. After the series carried out in recent weeks, the thieves struck again twice during the night.
One occurred just outside Arezzo, in Chianicella, to the detriment of the Il tulipano company. It was around 4.40 when the criminals entered the building, taking advantage of the presence of a construction site in a neighboring company. Then they took away tens of thousands of euros worth of silver.
The other blow occurred in Viciomaggio. It was around 1.30 am when the Delta Style company’s alarm went off reporting an intrusion: the Arezzo security guards and police rushed to the scene. Not even a handful of minutes to get to the place, but the thieves had already disappeared, taking away what they found within reach.
According to an initial reconstruction, in this case too the criminals (two with their faces covered) entered the company via a neighboring building. That is, they made their way inside a first company and then literally opened a passage inside the second by making a large hole in the wall. At that point they stockpiled around 700 grams of gold before fleeing. A loot that would be close to 50 thousand euros.
The investigations conducted by the Police and Carabinieri are ongoing.
