Caivano, fire in a used clothing warehouse

Night of fear a Caivano. A sudden fire in a warehouse for old clothes, in via Fossa del Lupo, in the area that connects via Diaz to via Atellana, made the air unbreathable and nauseating, causing a black cloud tens of meters high and visible, despite the darkness, kilometers away.

The smoke, probably caused by the burning of rags and plastic materials, immediately raised the alarm among residents.

Carabinieri and firefighters immediately intervened on site with some tankers who put out the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to the homes.

However, the acrid smell has reached many areas of the city, forcing inhabitants to barricade themselves in their homes. Investigations are underway to establish the causes of the fire and to verify the burnt materials, which polluted the air.
