North-westerly currents, associated with a weak anticyclonic reinforcement, guarantee an overall stable Saturday characterized by alternating sun and clouds, while cloud cover increases on Sunday.
This morning Liguria woke up with the transit of clouds over the entire regional territory, at this moment there are more significant medium-high concentrations, without associated consequences, only in the Imperia area.
Minimum temperatures increased along the coastal strip, especially central-eastern ones, while elsewhere they did not undergo major variations. Along the coast we find values between +9°C and +12°C, while in the hinterland between 0°C and +9°C. Here are the morning temperatures recorded in the four provincial capitals by our monitoring network:
- Genoa Castelletto:+12.9°C
- Savona (Sanctuary, internal valley floor): +7.9°C
- Imperia: +11.3°C
- La Spezia: +12.6°C
During the afternoon, increased cloud cover from the coast towards the inland areas, brief showers cannot be ruled out on the peaks of the Apennines and the Ligurian Alps, dry elsewhere with alternating sun and clouds. Maximum temperatures are expected to increase, maximum peaks are expected even above +20°C. Weak or moderate ventilation from the southern quadrants, sea decreasing to slightly rough.
Tomorrow, Sunday 5 May, humid southern flows will be activated in the lower layers, this will lead to greater cloudiness along the coastal strip, especially between Savona and Genoa, drizzle cannot be ruled out in correspondence with the most significant accumulations.
