Torino di Sangro, fifth day of research for Milena Santirocco, tomorrow they will move to Casalbordino

There are 119 volunteers from Abruzzo, who with drones and dozens of search dog units who took turns in the search operations for the missing woman,

On the fifth day of searches, still no trace of Milena Santirocco, the 54-year-old from Lanciano who has been missing since Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Prefecture of Chieti has issued a search notice at national level through the Law Enforcement platform, the search teams continue to intensively search the southern coast of Torino di Sangro and the woods behind it, from Borgo Marina to the trabocco le Morge, from Lecceta to Contrada Lentesco.

The participation of the Civil Protection volunteers of the Abruzzo Region in Milena’s research is noteworthy, as they stood out for their speed of activation starting from the afternoon of Monday 29 April.

Activated by the Regional Civil Protection Agency, the volunteers, together with the dog units, coming from all over the Regional territory, meet in the morning at the UCL of Torino di Sangro, where in coordination with the Fire Brigade and the other forces of the order actively contribute to research in the assigned areas.

From tomorrow 4 May the searches will move to Casalbordino and the civil protection volunteers with their search dogs will be in action throughout the weekend.
