For a few days, for the landline telephony offer WindTre Voice Pluscomposed exclusively of unlimited calls towards national landlines and mobiles, as well as towards some foreign countries, is expected a new higher monthly price than beforefor all new activations.
As previewed by MondoMobileWeb, this price increase for new customers was introduced on 22 April 2024.
How the offer price increased
Previously, already since last April 1st 2019before the birth of the single WindTre brand, the Voce Più offer, which in the past was offered by Windexpected a price equal to 17.99 euros per month.
This price had already been increased from the previous 15.99 euros per month, which in turn had been introduced due to the XX.99 type price adjustmentintroduced at the time by Wind to replace the previous XX.90 type prices.
Basically, when it was still part of the former brand Windthe Voce Più offer had gone from 15.90 euros per month to 15.99 euros per month and 17.99 euros per month.
With the launch of the single WindTre brand, the offer remained available without any changealways at the same monthly price.
Now however, starting from April 22, 2024after more than 4 years from the launch of the single brand, for all new activations of the fixed telephony offer WindTre Voice Plus it is expected a new price of 19.99 euros per month, 2 euros higher per month than before.
Details on WindTre Voce Più
With the offer WindTre Voice Plus the activation of one is planned landline line only traditional voice with unlimited calls towards national fixed and mobile and towards fixed of Western Europe, Canada and USA.
As indicated on the operator’s website, with the indication of Western Europemeans all calls to landlines of Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Holland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
As before, the activation cost of the offer is equal to 30 EUR in the case of an already active line e 50 euros for the activation of a new telephone line.
Regarding invoices, the cost of sending via email is freewhile if you choose sending in paper formfrom 1 December 2022 there is a cost of 3 euros for each bill sent.
Please remember that, in case of early withdrawal from WindTre offersstarting from August 11, 2023 will be charged an amount equal to 22 euros plus VATbut according to what the operator underlines, this is a temporary cost to comply with the AGCOM resolution on the matter and without acquiescence to it.
ISTAT clause for inflation with WindTre
With telephone operators, offers may be subject to unilateral changes over time and, in these cases, WindTre notifies the customer one month in advance as required by law.
Furthermore, from mid-November 2022, WindTre will be present for the new activations of both mobile and fixed network offers a clause on the adjustment of prices according to inflationwhich specifies that, starting from January 2024, prices to customers will increase in the event of an increase in the ISTAT consumer cost index.
Last December 15, 2023, l‘AGCOM announced that he had the new regulation governing contracts between telephone operators and end customers has been approvedwith which the innovations foreseen by the communications code are implemented and a new one is also introduced regulation on the possibility for operators to adjust the prices of offers based on the trend of inflation.
One of the measures adopted, for example, is that the application of the adjustment cannot take place, in the first application, before 12 months from the contractual adhesion.
To find out how WindTre will adapt after this communication, it is therefore necessary to wait. At the moment the note of the operator’s price adjustment clause in the contract summary is still the same.
