meeting in Fivizzano for European and administrative meetings

In just over a month the European elections and the local elections will be held in many Tuscan municipalities. Alleanza Verdi Sinistra has put forward a proposal of candidates that wants to bring to the European Parliament women and men who are fighting for Peace, rights, social justice and an ecological transition that is paid for by the holders of income and profits.

We’ll talk about it Saturday 4 May at 10.30 am in the Council Room of the municipality of Fivizzano, at the former Augustinian Convent in a meeting that will see the presence of Lorenzo Falchi Mayor of Sesto Fiorentino and member of the National Secretariat of SI e Lucrezia Iurlarocandidate for AVS in the European elections in the constituency of Central Italy.

Lorenzo Falchi, born in 1980, has been mayor of Sesto Fiorentino since 20 June 2016 for the Italian Left, of which from this year he is also a member of the National Secretariat.

Lucrezia Iurlaro, 26 years old, Florentine, grew up in the student movement, committing herself to a secular and truly accessible education for everyone. She then launched the Stop Tampon Tax and women’s rights campaigns. Now she’s running for the European elections with Greens and Left Alliance

The meeting will also be an opportunity to make public the position of the Italian Left in the administrative elections involving various Lunigiana municipalities.

The meeting will be moderated by Matteo Bartolini, provincial secretary of the Italian Left and Concetta Goffredo, coordinator of the members of the Italian Left in Fivizzano
