Lancia, in opening orders for the small car, also provided a financial purchase solution (with scrapping and discounts applied by Lancia) with installments of 150 euros per month for 36 months, after which it will be possible to redeem the car, replace it or return it . The maxi-rate varies depending on the engine, it is 15,395 euros on the Ypsilon mild hybrid, 18,479 euros on the electric one. The sums of the advance are also different, of 6,710 euros for the Ypsilon mild hybrid and 9,619 euros for the electric one. An operation with an APR of 7.02% and 6.75% respectively.

ADAS

It is also a premium model in terms of equipment Adas as standard, the Ypsilon Cassina Edition or, Level 2 obtained from the operation of the adaptive cruise control and Lane Centering, between 30 and 150 km/h, which is the maximum speed of the electric. There is also Traffic Jam Assist with stop&go function.

DESIGN

The front develops a grille with LED elements that redefine the glass in a modern way. A Lancia symbol is found in three segments on the nose with, in addition, very evident lettering on the bonnet and made of satin stainless steel.

The aesthetic treatment between the grille and the end part of the bonnet presents a chromatic contrast with the rest of the bodywork, the glossy black recalls the Pu+Ra HPE concept while the shapes of the front are inspired by the Lancia Beta Montecarlo.

Although they are luminous elements, the light units will not be the LED segments. The headlights are located in a lower, separate position, on the sides of a bumper strip that is decidedly angular in the shape of the front.

The rear volume is very convincing and dynamic, with headlights inspired by the Stratos, the front has been elaborated. the headlights are installed lower than the grille, which adopts the new Lancia lettering, the black band and the three LED segments representing the chalice, the Lancia symbol. The grille applied to the bumper strip is very large.

At the end, we were saying, the recall to the Lancia Stratos, the touch that most evokes the Lancias of the past, with the round headlights on which a horizontally rotated Y-shaped light graphic is reproduced.

The same contrasting treatment with the colors of the bodywork for the glossy black element at the base of the rear window, taken up by the insert on the bumper strip. The latter has the merit of creating greater dynamism because it visually reduces the extension of the trunk opening. It makes it appear more compact than it actually is: functionality and dynamism coexist.

INFOTAINMENT AND INTERIOR

SALA is the Lancia infotainment system making its debut on the Ypsilon and destined to be the connectivity solution for the Gamma in 2026 and Delta in 2028. It is the acronym for Sound Air Light Augmentation and alludes to the integration of the climate control, the stereo and ambient lighting.

The central display has a size of 10.25 inches, high resolution, while behind the steering wheel there is space for digital instruments. The customization of your favorite functions on the home page is guaranteed by the editable widget design. A connected infotainment system that can be updated over-the-air, with 3D navigation and real-time info. There is no shortage of proposals from voice commands, which can also be used to adjust functions related to the climate and lighting in the passenger compartment.

The interiors of the Cassina 1906 special edition play on the color theme of blue. Materials such as velvet give the premium that the model wants to embody among small cars. The design of the seats (equipped with electric adjustment and massage function) recalls the Lancia history of the “Cannelloni” treatment.

AUTONOMY AND CHARGING

The CMP architecture and the e-CMP on which the new Ypsilon mild hybrid and the electric are born, is common to models such as the Opel Corsa and Peugeot 208. Therefore, dimensions of 4.08 meters in length by 1.76 meters in width and a height of 1.44 meters . The weight of the electric is inevitably important for a small car, not absolutely: 1,584 kg. The new electric Ypsilon is powered by the unit installed under the front bonnet, with 156 horsepower and 260 Nm of power and torque expressed. Charging takes place at a power of up to 100 kW in DC, with which it is possible to charge the 51 kWh net battery in 24 minutes. Enough energy to travel 403 km in the WLTP cycle. The declared consumption is interesting, starting from 14.3 kWh/100 km.

ENGINES, ALSO YPSILON HF

The expansion of the engine offering will also lead to the debut of a Lancia Ypsilon HF during 2025. Unpublished acronym for the model, historic for Lancia, which represented the sportiest versions between the Sixties and the early Nineties.
