AREZZO — It was September 20, 2018 when an argon gas leak in the Arezzo headquarters of the State Archives, which leaked from the building’s fire prevention system, cost the lives of two employees, Piero Bruni and Filippo Bagni aged 59 and 55.

Today, on Labor Day, Arezzo dedicated a moment of commemoration to the victims of the tragedy. A laurel wreath was placed right at the headquarters of the State Archives.

The ceremony was followed in the afternoon by a debate on the topic of safety in the workplace.
