Thermaltake Astria 600 RGB: an explosion of colors for the new air cooler

Thermaltake officially presented Astria 600the first of a range of air coolers characterized by a strong component ARGB. Astria 600 represents the top of the range of the new lineup unveiled at CES this year, but the company has not yet shared price and availability.

Astria 600 is characterized by an a double tower with high density fins. The dimensions, on the other hand, are not exactly small: the heat sink measures 124mm x 137mm x 160mm (W x D x H). Through the two towers they make their way 6 heatpipes which culminate on a nickel-plated copper plate.

The heatsink comes with two 120mm PWM fans with a variable speed from 500 to 1,800 rpm, capable of moving an air volume of 65 CFM with a static pressure of 2.56mm H2OR. Even with both fans installed, Thermaltake believes it is possible to install 1.5x tall RAM modules.

As mentioned, what characterizes the new heatsink is the ARGB lighting it involves both the fans and the two towers. The former have a 9 LED ring around the bearing that diffuses the light onto the blades. The towers, however, house a die-cast metal plate surrounded by 18 LEDs for each. These allow you to illuminate both the area around the plate and the front area on which The Thermaltake logo stands out.

According to data shared by the manufacturer, the cooler is capable of withstanding up to 265W heat load and is compatible with most sockets currently in use. In the case of Intelyou can install Astria 600 on LGA 1200, 115x, 1700 and 1851 next generation. As for AMD it is compatible with both platforms AM4 and AM5.
