Wild animals involved in three accidents in the city

The local police were involved in three different areas of the city for incidents involving wild animals, which are increasingly present in the city, also due to the strong temperature fluctuations that have occurred in the last two weeks which may have disoriented them.

The first episode involved a roe deer found injured in a leg at 3 in the morning in via Valpantena, after being hit by a vehicle that drove away. Given the conditions and the impossibility of a rapid intervention by a veterinarian, the agents of the Motor Vehicles Department accompanied the animal to the Headquarters where he was looked after until the intervention of the Provincial Police for subsequent treatment.

In via Lazzaretto around 9am a deer was involved in a collision with a car. In this case the Provincial Police always intervened to follow up and provide rescue. Finally, in Via Quercia, the Local Police assisted the Fire Brigade in the recovery of a deer that had fallen into a ford, perhaps because it had been involved in a collision with a vehicle and was found dead.
