Three more appointments for the Bonsai Festival

Festival Bonsai continues with three events that have research theater as their protagonist, the individual and introspective one, the one that wants to tell the facets of family reality and the one that examines the popular tradition of our territories. The locations involved will be that of Ferrara Off and that of Villa Imoletta, a residence that allowed the development of the research protagonist of “The quadruman gorilla” extending it to our Ferrara area.

Thursday May 23 at 9.00 pm at the Ferrara Off theater in Viale Alfonso I d’Este, 13 Pietro Angelini brings to the stage “An honest and partial discourse on the highest systems”, a show poised between irony and desperation, conceived as a self-portrait of author and simultaneously as an x-ray of the contemporary historical, social and artistic context.

“Here where we meet” is the show by and with Giulia Scotti and Andrea Pizzalis, which will be staged on Saturday May 25th in three shifts: 6.00pm, 7.30pm, 9.00pm. The protagonists will try to reconstruct their family memory through flashes and fragments of memories inside a private home. The meeting will be in Ferrara Off, in Viale Alfonso I d’Este, 13.

“Il gorilla quadrumano”, extra Bonsai show, directed by Maria Chiara Montella, dramaturgy by Federico Mattioli and with Alessandra Cocorullo and Marco Trotta, rediscovers the Emilian theatrical tradition that was born in the 19th century, passes through the 70s and reaches the our days. The theatrical story will go on stage on May 26th at 6.00 pm at Villa Imoletta, Via Comacchio 882, Quartesana (FE).

New for 2024 at the Bonsai Festival is the responsible ticket. To guarantee access to all people, the public will choose the most sustainable entry fee, among various price ranges.

Everyone will be free to contribute according to their availability, because the theater needs the support of the spectators, but above all their presence.
