Yet another accident today in A4: the situation.
The section of the A4 between San Donà and Cessalto towards Trieste remains closed due to an accident that occurred in Noventa shortly after 10am in which two heavy vehicles were involved (two people injured). Autostrade Alto Adriatico staff, together with the firefighters and mechanical emergency vehicles, are completing the operations to remove the vehicles, while those concerning the two accidents that occurred around 8 am in the stretch between Cessalto and San Stino have ended.
At around 1pm a new accident – again in the direction of Trieste – occurred at the height of Meolo in the three-lane section at kilometer 420. A heavy vehicle he didn’t notice the queue – pre-signaled by the variable message signs – originated from the Noventa accident and skidded to one side when braking, losing the load of marble slabs which ended up partly on the road surface and partly on an empty car transporter. No consequences for the two drivers. Heavy vehicles occupy the driving and overtaking lane. For those coming from Venice it is possible to proceed using the fastest lane.
Autostrade Alto Adriatico has activated the virtual redirection (recommended route) of the A27/A28 both for those coming from Venice and for those coming from Trieste.
