STORO. The boy was transported by helicopter to hospital hit by a van in Val del Chiese.
The alert was triggered at 6.30pm today, Monday 29 April, in Piazza Malfer in the town center of Storo (Article here).
An 11 year old on scooteraccording to the first reconstructions, was hit by a van driven by a 51 year old.
A very violent impact and the very young man was thrown to the ground. A flight of a few meters on the asphalt.
The alarm was raised immediately and emergency services were brought to the scene. ambulance, Storo firefighters and local police of the Val del Chiese to manage the emergency.
The area was isolated and made safe while the healthcare personnel provided initial assistance to the 11-year-old. An accident that appeared serious and the operators requested the arrival of thehelicopterlanded after a few minutes of travel at the Storo apron.
The very young man was immobilized and stabilized, then transferred by helicopter toSanta Chiara hospital in Trento for investigations and further information. The reconstruction of the exact dynamics is entrusted to the police.
