THE bonuses in force for water, electricity and gas bills they can get to 1,050 euros in total for some families. However, these are measures that have precise parameters that outline who can benefit from them. Furthermore, the amounts can vary depending on the economic situation of each family, up to the maximum amount of 1,050 euros in certain contexts.
Although these are different measures and not thought of in the same context, the parameters to access it remain completely similar. It is therefore simple for a family in difficulty to apply and obtain all three bonuses.
Bill bonus 1,050 euros: the requirements
Families in difficulty can take advantage of three different bonuses to alleviate the burden of electricity, gas and water bills on their accounts. These are measures which, when added together, can be worth more than a thousand euros per month, but only in very specific cases. Even without respecting every parameter, however, you can obtain significant help for your economic situation from the State.
The requirements for the three bonuses are the same for each family: you must have a Isee, the indicator of the family financial situation that is used in Italy to access various support measures, lower than 9,530 euros per year. The only exception foreseen on this parameter is the one introduced by the Government for particularly large families. In fact, if the parents have 4 dependent children, and therefore there are at least 6 family members, the income can rise up to 20 thousand euros, always calculated following the ISEE indicator.
These bonuses are therefore reserved for families in a particular state economic difficulty. In Italy, there are around 5.7 million people living in a situation of absolute poverty according to the latest Istat data. That’s one in ten residents.
The bonus amounts for electricity, gas and water
The water, electricity and gas bonuses for families in difficulty are entirely cumulative. This means that a family that meets the parameters for one of the three bonuses is automatically entitled to the other two. However, the amounts that each bonus entails vary, and also a lot. For the light bonus it goes from 142.74 euros per year for a family of 1 or 2 members, to 183 for a family made up of 3 or 4 members, therefore normally for two parents with one or two children, and finally to 201.30 euros per year for a nucleus composed of more than 4 elements. These figures are paid out every quarter, so in a year you can get up to over 600 euros.
However, the calculation of the gas bonus is more complex. In this case the payment is not spread equally over the entire year, but depends on the period. In fact, a large part of the bonus is paid out in winter to offset heating costs. In summer, however, the amount is reduced. Finally, the amount you can receive from the gas bonus also depends on the climate zone in which you live. In the most difficult situation you can get up to 360 euros per year. By adding these two bonuses to the 20 euros per family member provided by the water bonus, a household with 4 or more members living in climate zone D can reach 1,050 euros per year.
