Galeazzo Bignami will be at the meeting on May 14th (starting at 8.30pm) at the Teatro Sociale of Novafeltria, to talk about the process for the new Marecchiese project, entrusted to Anas. Just a few weeks ago the mayors of Valmarecchia and the provincial managers met the deputy minister Bignami and the Anas managers in Rome. The Valmarecchia Futura committee is organizing the initiative on the 14th and the spokesperson Alessio Amantini specifies: “We have invited citizens and administrators. It is not an election evening”. For the committee it is essential that “the whole territory expresses itself with cohesion”. This is why they didn’t like the ‘disengagement’ of the Province and Region: “We understand the political rivalry, but a sense of responsibility is needed. Instead they closed the case quickly since Anas is taking care of it…”. The committee clarifies: “We are not interested in politics. The only objective is to have a safer Marecchiese that halves travel times. Only in this way will the social and economic desertification underway in Valmarecchia be put a stop to.”
