Accident in Maniago: car goes off the road, man injured.
He goes off the road and crashes into the electrical substation: at approximately 10.50 pm yesterday, Sunday 28 April, the fire brigade team of the Maniago detachment intervened in the hamlet of San Leonardo Valcellina in the municipality of Montereale Valcellina due to a road accident which he only saw one car at the time. Which, left the road, after having traveled about sixty meters on the grass and hit a disused brick electrical substation.
Once the firefighters arrived on site, they found that in the car there was only the driver who had a leg stuck between the sheets of metal, using hydraulic pliers and spreaders, they cut the doors and pillars of the car, thus managing to free the man who was then taken over by medical personnel who had arrived on site in the meantime. Once the rescue operations for the injured man were completed, the firefighters completed the safety measures of the accidented vehicle and the entire area affected by the accident. The state police are also on site, within their jurisdiction.
