Fire in a building in Ravenna, 25 injured

Last night at Ravenna at least 25 people, including some children, were poisoned by a fire exploded in a building in via Tommaso Gulli. After 11pm a fire broke out in a vehicle parked in a garage, probably a scooter.

Smoke quickly filled the entire building through the stairs, preventing 16 families from finding their way out. The Fire Brigade intervened promptly, with teams from Ravenna and Cervia, also supported by some ladder trucks. Thanks to their intervention, everyone was evacuated and the fire was put out. The people involved were transported to hospital for checks, while the condominium was declared uninhabitable, although it appears to have suffered no structural damage. The Carabinieri, State Police and Local Police also intervened on site.
